In my life this week…
I signed up to be an Usborne consultant this week, so I’ve been super busy getting that up and running. I’ve got my website up, LovingUsborne.com, and my Facebook page and am working on an Usborne blog as well. If you love Usborne books, as I do, I’d love for you to check it out or stop by my Facebook page (Loving Usborne) to cheer me on.
In our homeschool this week…
We had a good time with our July 4th activities, though we really had to try hard. It was one of those events where everything went wrong! And even in the worst situations, I find it all just hilarious (which did NOT help).
Our music study was more the focus of this week. We sequenced Handel’s Firework music (more on that later) and studied the names of the instruments in the brass family.
The little one is still very disgruntled about her lack of school activities. She took it upon herself to fill her workbox pockets and her brother’s as well. But I’m determined to hold out and use this to my advantage. She will be so eager to work with me in the fall!
My favorite thing this week…
Please excuse the Christmas cup on July 4th; it was just the perfect size for a float.
